About Erie Water Works


The Water Works Board Authority is an independent organization whose goal is to operate, maintain and rehabilitate the water system for the Erie, Pennsylvania region, while providing service at an affordable cost.  This year, the Authority completed a series of engineering improvements, over $100 million since 1992, including the cutting edge Ultrafiltration Membrane System, one of the region's true engineering marvels.   Visit http://www.eriewater.org/ for more information.

Directions from I-79  

Stay on I-79 and continue onto the Bayfront Parkway.  Continue for approximately 2 miles, there are two marinas on the north side of the parkway that you will pass while proceeding to the Water Works. The Erie Water Works Filtration Building is on the left. 

Special Instructions

Since you will be arriving after the gates close, please park in the open lot that’s east of the long filtration building. The Filtration Building is the one you see on the north side of the Bayfront Parkway.
